Preview Of AYR 17:20 07/03/2008 By One Piece Missing - Pathfinder System

This is our first race preview so please be patient with our approach and style, we will revise our review over the coming weeks as we become more accustomed to the process.

 

Some people will see this race as a potential to lay the hot favourite THE BAJAN BANDIT, however, we see this as an opportunity to mark a winner, either as a high-staked single or as an accumulator ‘increaser’. THE BAJAN BANDIT won at this course back in February on soft ground and we do not see the drop in trip from 3m to 2m 5f being a problem, especially at the ease that THE BAJAN BANDIT won at. Going through the rest, ENCOURE CADOUDAL, was beaten in the race won by THE BAJAN BANDIT, pulling up two from the finish when making limited impressions into the winner, we cannot see a turn around in positions here, even with a claimer in the saddle. LAUDERDALE fell in its last race over ptp rules and will struggle to make any impression here, NO SHENANIGANS has been pulled up in its last two races and the handicapper seems to have his mark, despite some encouraging form when a win did look on the cards and is best watched here. PHARAGON despite a low official rating could be a danger here and maybe a ‘nibble’ at each-way prices could be in the offering, some consistent form and a claimer taking seven in the saddle are both positives, however, THE BAJAN BANDIT should just be too strong here. THEATRE RIGHTS deserves a mention, and we just have and that’s all we have to say about that.
