ANOTHER NATIVE - Formerly useful in the context of this grade but went missing for a long time prior to a comback 7 weeks ago. He ran well to a point but was ultimately pulled up. Always looked to want bottomless ground and comes from behind so track maybe not ideal either. Market should be informative.

ARUMUN - Has shown little of late and stable in poor form. Not without a chance but others appeal more.

TYCOON HALL - Modest recently but did win a decent hurdle at Market Rasen and has one good run over fences. A repeat of either of those may well suffice here and second run back from a break with the stable re-finding some form.

MASTER OVERSEER - Interesting runner for top yard. Looked on his last 2 runs that he would improve once sent handicapping. However, he has also looked a stayer and first time out in this non-novice handicap is a big ask over a fast 2m.

ELGAR - Stable not known for winners and although dropping down the handicap he has not been running well enough to be considered here.

NEMETAN - No world beater but is capable in this grade and is at least in form, if not especially well handicapped. This track may suit and should run his race for his capable connections.

SOU'WESTER - This horse has always looked a bit better over hurdles but connections took advantage of a chase mark 38lb below his hdle mark at Plumpton where he scooted home. Raised 23lb, he was still arguably well in next time but has been beaten 3 times off that kind of mark. However, this speed track and easy fences may play to his strengths. as may the drop in trip. Stable not in blistering form though.
