Preview Of LEICESTER 14:50 07/03/2008 By One Piece Missing - Pathfinder System

This is our first race preview so please be patient with our approach and style, we will revise our review over the coming weeks as we become more accustomed to the process.

 

The each-way selection comes in the form of APOLLO CREED, early indications on the price movement of this horse are positive and it should run a big race. APOLLO CREED has been off the track since January, when behind the excellent Sporting Rebel at Chepstow, but can and will be a big runner in this race and the claimer of seven does little to take away from this race. Laying favourites in amateur riders handicap races is easily done and we think the consistent and somewhat unlucky form of APOLLO CREED can seem him through here. Going through the rest, RASH MOMENT his the highest official rated horse in the race and could be a danger, our concern would be its last performance, despite being at a higher class. IN EXTRA TIME has not raced since December when pulled up and we feel it needs the run here. WILLIAM BUTLER will go off the favourite by all accounts but worries over a deceiving run on its last appearance when early form indicates otherwise is a concern. The remainder will all need to be on their best form to challenge the above, the only noticeable runner there would be TIPP TOP that should go better at the drop in distance and could be a big price for an each-way.
