3.05 Beverley – Race Analysis & Tissue Prices MISTER ARJAY 12/1 – Long time since he ran over this short a trip but main concern is that he has never seemed at his best on soft ground. Stamina an asset but may be best watched despite minor drop in grade. Stable not in great form. PARADISE WALK 20/1 – Couple of convincing victories here last year but run over hurdles looks regrettable as she failed to enjoy it and has been off since. Un-proven on soft ground and good effort needed to take this after a break. CHANNEL CROSSING 9/1 – Chance if allowed an easy lead but overall profile modest and yet another for whom soft ground is a bit of an unknown. MISTER FIZZBOMB 10/1 – Game enough but at the risk of becoming repititive – seems uncertain to appreciate this ground. HEPBURN BELL 9/4 – Has looked as though she wants at least this trip and less exposed than her rivals. Has shown form on soft ground and makes plenty of appeal. It is an ask though of a 3-y-o filly against these battle-hardened rivals. James Fanshawe is 7-28 with his 3-y-o runners at this course over the past 5 seasons. MASTER NIMBUS 85/40 – Stays very well and has form on soft ground. Has a pretty good win record too so must have a leading chance here against horses with much to prove on the ground. The only negative being his handicap mark which is now plenty high enough. RED FAMA 9/1 – Looks to have plenty on against these but is at least lightly raced and open to some improvement. Has won here on softish ground. Conclusion; Eddie Ahern travels to Beverleyfor just the one ride and perhaps HEPBURN BELL can improve past her rivals. Her stable are in good form and this race may not take too much winning. MISTER NIMBUS appeals as the danger given that conditions will suit him. These two stand out but monor honours may go to RED FAMA.
