Two principals stand out in this race for fillies and mares only and for different reasons, writes Daniel Weston. The ex-Irish Safari Run has been thwarted by her double penalty  - for wins at Punchestown and Down Royal - since coming across the water.

She was beaten six lengths and then double that margin in two runs at Hexham, though both races were around two miles and it will be interesting to see if she fares better over the extra half-mile here.

In contrast, the Ferdy Murphy mare Senora Snoopy has been in the frame in all five runs this season, twice as runner-up. That is not to suggest she is ungenuine because she has run some fine races in defeat and looks capable of going one better.

Winner of a Towcester bumper as a four-year-old, she ran probably her best race last time at Huntingdon where a mistake two out probably cost her the head defeat by Fretwork, with Riodan nine lengths back in fourth. She was also beaten a head after leading two out over a furlong further of this track on Boxing Day.
