A competitive class 4 novice’s hurdle at Plumpton offers some good each-way value in the shape of POSEIDONS SECRET. Fifth on its last trip, this progressive five year old can go better here than in February, particularly due to the ground being softer this time around. Of the rest, ARDMADDY will go off odds on favourite and will be tough to beat here, although until the novice has a win to its name, nothing can be taken for granted. ARDESIA has not ran since December when it fell and is probably best watched. PINDAR will relish the soft ground but needs a marked improvement to get in a paying position here, as does FANTASTIC MORNING. Scratch NAMBIAN PINK off the card unless something catastrophic happens to the other runners!
