The lightly-raced Zaffarans Scene has one third placing most recently from four hurdles starts, writes Daniel Weston. He kept on well over a half-mile shorter trip at Folkestone and staying may well be his game. He looks one for a three-mile handicap but could this be a bit too soon?

Jim Bobs Girl stays three miles and so is worth considering. He has failed to win in 14 starts but was not beaten all that far over course and distance last month. Galantos has put in two decent efforts recently and could be in the picture. He was well clear of the rest in third at Exeter and then stayed on stoutly in a much hotter contest at Sandown three weeks ago.

Mister Sher was a mover in the market at Ludlow and was not far off landing the gamble, being just outgunned near the line. He and the winner were well clear of the rest in a fair time. The same conditions here give him a good chance to make amends.
